Namkaran sanskar pooja

Namkaran Sanskar is performed to bless the child with a meaningful name, good health, long life, wisdom, and prosperity. The ceremony is conducted in the presence of family members, elders, and a priest (pandit), who performs Vedic rituals and chants sacred mantras.

The pooja begins with Ganesh Poojan to remove obstacles, followed by Navgraha Shanti and Kalash Sthapana. The priest then consults the baby’s janam nakshatra and rashi (birth star and zodiac sign) to determine the most auspicious letter or name.
